After much thought and (quite frankly) trepidation, it has come to my attention that I need to test the authoring waters via several different avenues in order to achieve maximum success in my writing career. My first delving into these uncharted artistic oceans is Rebel Rose Publishing, LLC., my own co-owned publishing house, set to launch on Hallowe'en 2011.

RRP will begin small...exceptionally small...but of the highest quality. The first book to be launched, my upcoming BDSM erotica fantasy DEMON'S SLAVE, will be released as a guinea pig of sorts; after having worked with two WONDERFUL publishers who treat me like a queen, I feel that I have gained enough clout as a traditionally published writer to give this avenue a shot. If all goes well with the first release, I will release a second ebook novella, HOLLY AND ROSE: A Black Dog and Rebel Rose Yule Tale (working title), for the 2011 Christmas/Yule season under RRP. There are four additional titles from a separate author planned for the end of 2011. As of 2012, print editions of all books will be added to the RRP line.

Authors have already approached me with questions about submitting their own work to be published under RRP, and, while this is not something that I will be doing right off, there are plans in the works to begin adding an extremely high quality and carefully selected group of authors to RRP's line beginning sometime in 2012.

Of course, starting my own publishing house by no means at all points to me abandoning my current publishers or not signing on with any other houses. I simply want to explore the ability of having full control over the marketing and publication of certain works, and eventually offer other authors a quality publishing experience for their work.
